The White Guard (Belaya gvardiya) is a Russian 2012 screen adaptation of the same title novel by Mikhail Bulgakov. The mini-series is directed by Sergey Snezhkin and depicts the fate of the family of Turbins during the Russian Civil War in the city of Kiev.

Nagant M1895 revolvers are carried by most White officers, including Poruchik (Lt.) Shervinskiy (Evgeniy Dyatlov), Capt. Talberg (Igor Chernevich), Poruchik Stepanov (Evgeniy Stychkin), Col. Malyshev (Aleksey Guskov), Capt. Studzinskiy (Andrey Zibrov), Capt. Pleshko (Vladimir Vdovichenkov), Poruchik Zamanskiy (Artur Vakha), Warrant Officer Shchur (Igor Vernik), and others. Dr. Aleksey Turbin (Konstantin Khabenskiy) uses a Nagant in one scene. All revolvers are of post-1930 model.

Poruchik (Lt.) Viktor Myshlaevskiy (Mikhail Porechenkov) owns a nickel plated Webley Bulldog revolver. Later the revolver is stolen by a criminal Volk (Evgeniy Efremov) and used by him to rob a richman Vasiliy Lisovich (Yuriy Itskov), a neighbor of Turbins.

During the street fight Col. Feliks Nay-Turs (Aleksey Serebryakov) and Pvt. Nikolay Turbin (Nikolay Efremov) man a machine gun that looks mostly like a German Maxim MG08 but appears to be a Russian Maxim (most likely M1910/30). The detail that allows to identify the real model is a cartridge belt that is filled with rimmed cartridges, matching Russian 7.62x54R.
