:Eh, if it's just one or two you can include them for the sake of completeness. Plus that "optical shotgun" looks kind of like it's based on a real weapon (maybe a UTS-15) though it's a bad angle to say for sure. :::There's ''only'' one per class (two pistols), and giving them only one screencap each really wouldn't be excessive. Plenty of other pages have interesting/trivia things like this at the bottom, not to mention it can help with clarity for what is and isn't bullet-firing weapons (I think the Peacock looks like the KSG). It's educational, I think people like us that edit here might often take for granted all the stuff we already know and understand. It only looks a bit crowded now because I still haven't collected all the screencaps and added them, once we have those it'll be a comparatively tiny section. Ditto for why the main entries were rather word-y, much of that info will get moved around to the image captions and such. Fingers crossed I'll have some time to get this done soon. Screencaps
If the few people around here don't mind, I'm doing a full canon-characters playthrough (proper protagonist and ArFA, including their weapons), so to avoid adding even more confusion to a series with a ton of characters and such, I'd like to do all the screencaps for the page. I'm gonna try to update at least the weapon entries that are in the game tonight (as I know about them so far), and hopefully I can start adding proper screencaps in a few days after my work week is over. Hopefully this is okay with the (I assume) very few people even following this page. Alex T Snow (talk) 22:40, 25 February 2018 (EST)
- Can you confirm that your character does in-fact have the 93R's during the cutscene that kicks off the true ending? Someone else mentioned that he was using CZ-75's instead. --HashiriyaR32 (talk) 16:40, 5 March 2018 (EST)
- I'm guessing that's a certain scene I remember from the trailer, but I'm only just before the start of the end sequence right now, as I still need a bit more character Affinity to be able to get the True Ending. I do remember the MC using the default Five-seveN in what I'm assuming is this shot in the trailer (and I'm assuming that's what they meant instead of CZ-75), though if that's the case I wouldn't read into it too much; the Five-seveN is simply the default, and while character appearances and outfits change in cutscenes, weapons don't. For example, the upgraded version of the Uzi gets pink grips (to match its user's colour palette), but even when Kureha has upgraded to that, she'll still use the base form with green grips in cutscenes. It's probably just a case of "give MC default pistol in cutscene", but I'll make sure to pay attention. Hopefully I'll be able to do the ending in the next few days, but I'm in the middle of my work week so not a lot of time to play. Alex T Snow (talk) 21:30, 5 March 2018 (EST)
- I'm sorry this is taking as long as it is, but I'll have the ending done real soon here, then I can do the entire page worth of screencaps; I already have most, but it's easier to put a puzzle together when you know what all the pieces are. Also, Zeliska's "laser rifle" is her Peacock optical shotgun. I think I'll add a smaller section at the bottom for the optical guns (there's one per type, and two pistols) for the completion's sake, and to avoid confusion. The first known appearance of AR-57 in media
Is actually from Cross Fire, though IMFDB hadn't documented that yet. --Wuzh (talk) 04:23, 2 March 2018 (EST)
- Oh cool, thanks! I'll reword the entry. Alex T Snow (talk) 15:07, 2 March 2018 (EST)
Optical Weapons
You do know that unless the gun is based on a real weapon/uses parts from a real weapon, like in the case of the M41A Pulse Rifle, you can't add fictional guns in this wiki, right? Noire (talk) 01:09, 3 April 2018 (EDT)
