This movie takes place in 1975 right? Then why the hell does Carlito have a Beretta 92F, the only model available was the 92 at the time (and it JUST came out). Maybe the description on my channel guide got it wrong, though. No you're right the movie is supposed to take place in 1975. Needless to say having Pacino use a Beretta 92F is a serious screwup. I saw an old Gary Cooper western once. Takes palce during the Seminole Indian War in Florida in the 1830's/1840's. Guess what. They have the characters using Colt 1873 Peacemakers.
