Revision as of 00:38, 3 March 2018
Waco is a 2018 limited event series that focuses on the events surrounding the infamous 1993 raid and subsequent standoff between the ATF and the Branch Davidian sect led by David Koresh (portrayed here by Taylor Kitsch) at their compound in Waco, Texas. The limited series, which premiered in the US in January of 2018, was one of the very first to debut on the newly formed Paramount Network (formerly Spike TV/TNN).
The following weapons were used in the miniseries Waco (TV Series):
Handguns
SIG-Sauer P226
ATF Special Agent Edward Wiggins (Christopher Stanley) is seen with a SIG-Sauer P226 during the initial siege at Mount Carmel. Other ATF agents seemed to be armed with this pistol as well.
Beretta 92FS
Jacob Vazquez (John Leguizamo) has a Beretta 92FS while in surveillance of Mount Carmel.
Beretta M9A1
Steve Schneider (Paul Sparks) uses what appears to be a Beretta M9A1 to execute David Koresh (Taylor Kitsch) in the final episode, "Day 51" (S1E6). This is anachronistic, as the M9A1 was released in 2006 and the show takes place in 1993.
Glock 17
David Koresh (Taylor Kitsch) carries a Glock 17.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A2
Many ATF agents are armed with Heckler & Koch MP5A2s during the beginning of episode 1. FBI HRT agents are also armed with the MP5A2 in addition to Branch Davidians Steve Schneider (Paul Sparks) and Wayne Martin (Demore Barnes).
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
The Heckler & Koch MP5A3 is seen in the hands of a few ATF agents.
Rifles/Carbines
M16A2
M16A2s Were in the the hands of some ATF agents during the beginning of the siege. FBI HRT agents were also armed with this.
Ruger Mini-14
A Ruger Mini-14 was seen in the hands of Randy Weaver and Kevin Harris during the incident at Ruby Ridge.
Remington 700PSS
An FBI HRT sniper Lon Horiuchi (Rich Ting) used Remington 700PSS rifle in an attempt to kill Randy Weaver at Ruby Ridge. The scope attached on a picatinny rail would make this rifle partly anachronistic.
Colt Model 653
A Colt Model 653 was seen at the beginning of the siege by one of the Davidians.
AK Variants
Branch Davidian members are also armed with AK type rifles.
M4A1
In "Visions and Omens" (S1E01), a recruitment poster of presumably an ATF agent armed with what appears to be an anachronistic customized M4A1 that is fitted an assortment of accessories that also didnot exist in the time period.
Other
Mount Carmel Armory
While at Mount Carmel, Koresh is seen with a variety of weapons in his armory. There's an assorted different types of guns from lever actions, M16A2s, SKSs, Mosin Nagants, etc
