The Quest is a 1996 martial arts movie directed by Jean-Claude Van Damme (until 2014 his only directorial credit), who also stars as Christopher Dubois, a young American, who has to run away from New York, pursued by both mobsters and police. After long adventures Chris appears on a Siamese island where he is trained in martial arts. At last he became a participant of a tournament of best martial artists from all the world.
The following weapons were used in the film The Quest:
Smith & Wesson Model 10 revolvers with 4" barrels are seen in hands of Lord Edgar Dobbs (Roger Moore), Harri Smythe (Jack McGee) and some of Turkish smugglers during the boarding combat.
An SKS semi auto carbine, heavily anachronistic for 1925, is seen in hands of one of Dobbs' men during the boarding combat with Turkish smugglers. After the battle SKS is seen among captured rifles.
Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk.III*
Chris Dubois finds several Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk.III* rifles hidden among the cargo on Turkish freighter.
