Weapons

Here is a list of weapons that (although are not confirmed) have been seen in advertisments and alpha images. Check the Army of Two Facebook page to confirm:

Handguns

Beretta M92F: From the first game makes an appearance in an alpha screen shot, with a type of riot shield combined. [1]

That would either be a M9 or a 92FS--GunGeek

Love the weapon customization in the game though disappointed you can't customize the pistols to the extent that the primary weapons can be modified. --DarkSamuraiX1999 20:38, 2 April 2013 (PST)

Shotguns

Remington 870: Seen in the last game, this one seems to have a similar stock as in AO2:40D but also has a top rail attachment[2]

Assault Rifles

IMI Tavor: Seen in a promotional image. As this is not an in game screen shot it is debatable if it will be in the final game[3]

M4A1: As seen in the previous two games, the M4A1 shows in an alpha screen shot from Gamescom. This image shows it to be modified in several ways, including a dual magazine clamp, EO-Tech Sight, and either a laser sight or a surefire weapon light.

IGN Overkill Trailer

So as of 1/15/13 there is a new trailer for the game on IGN called the "Overkill" Trailer. There are some really cool new gameplay elements shown such as several vehicle segments, and the ability to drive said vehicle in what looks like a first person perspective. There are also a few new weapons that I noticed in the trailer that should be mentioned.

First there is a mounted turret at :50 on the trailer. It looks similar to the XM Turret series seen in the previous AO2 games.

at 1:03, a cartel solider is shown using either an Armsel Protecta or a Cobray Streetsweeper (cant distinguish from either as of yet) and is shown with a folding stock deployed.

Only a few more months away, I have been religiously asking EA to send a beta version of the weapon customization so that we can test it out before the game releases. I hope that it comes out soon! --A single bullet can change history (talk) 15:59, 15 January 2013 (EST) User:Valant

Mask Customization Trailer

I went on the A02 facebook page today and watched the mask customization tailer (it is in spanish), and found a couple new weapons to ID:

00:26 SPAS 12 being seen equipped by the operative with the "bone daddy" mask

00:34 TDI Vector customized with a EO-TECH site being used by the "Red Tiger" mask, shell casings coming out from it look like the .45ACP they should be

GameTrailers Preview

Hi there! So I just watched (2/22/13) the preview on gametrailers.com and discovered some new weapons.

Throughout the trailer the FN SCAR-L (my baby) is prominently seen in the hands of Alpha. In one shot there is also an attachment of a laser sight which I can only assume helps with the recoil.

01:03 a M14 symbol is shown as a weapon the player may choose to pick up, however the game erroneously labels it as an "M1"

02:10 The SPAS 12 (although this shotgun has already been identified earlier from gameplay footage) is labeled as the ASG-Combat. The icon also shows the hook on the butt of the folding stock (which itself is also extended)

Overkill Diaries #3

Alright so the overkill diaries #3 is here and aside from showing some new weapons it also shows the amazing amount of customization for each weapon. The two guns that Alpha is equipped with (being a UMP-45 and M60) each one have a customization on every part possible.

Absolutely high hopes for the game

So Ive been watching all the demo videos for this game and simply wow. They really outdid themselves. First the game length (demo level is 34!) though I wish the demo was longer. Then the weapons customization which has been extensified from previous games. So many different customziations each one with their own benefit, so many amazing weapons to choose from. Another great thing is there is a firing range you can go to immediately after making your weapon to test it out and see how it works (a feature dropped from the original). Awesome glitch in Demo

As you might have seen there are a lot of handguns in Devils Cartel but you cant see or use them now cause of the demo. WRONG! Here is how, go to the pistols, choose one (i.e hover over the M1911), then press the back button and proceed to the primary/secondary weapon slot to which you already have a weapon unlocked. Go to the firing range and switch to the pistol. You know can test fire the 1911 (and all other handguns). AK-47=Type 56?(Maybe?)

I just through playing the demo today and I noticed the Ak-47 may actually be a Norinco Type 56. The reason I say that is when I picked it and when into precision aim, the front sight was fully encircled(or hooded as most of you would say) and that to me is first telltale sign of a Chinese AK. Of course I could be wrong, but I figured I'd just throw it out there, something to roll around in the ol'noggin.

Hello, I have been working hard on trying to get much of the information on this page, however I am extremely inept at getting the images to work on the page. I have tried before but for some reason i simply cant get it to work. Can someone help me and get in game pictures of the weapons through various media so that we can take away the stock weapon pictures? Or at least add them to them? Thank you. Box art

Worth noting that on the cover art the guy on the left is ejecting brass pistol casings by firing his shotgun's magazine tube while the guy on the right has a neat muzzle flash for a pistol with the slide in battery. Evil Tim (talk) 15:44, 10 April 2013 (EDT)

Overhaul

Instead of nuking the page, if it is moved to the talk page, I am prepared to do an overhaul of the page (as I did with the original AoT) as soon as it is made backwards compatible on the Xbox One. Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel is a third-person shooter video game, developed by Visceral Games and published by Electronic Arts for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms. Colt Anaconda

Called the MAG 44 in game. It is the final unlockable handgun in game and Bautista's weapon of choice.

Rossi Model 971

Called Model 971 in-game. Has a good rate of fire and damage. Recoil allows the weapon to be brought back to the primary firing position quickly and accurately. Its reload speed is aided by use of a speed loader.

M1911

A Kimber version of the M1911 is seen in the weapon customization menu. Listed as the M1911 in-game. Has a lower accessory rail which unfortunately cannot mount an attachment.

Kimber Warrior - .45 ACP

Beretta 92FS

The starting handgun in the game identified as the M92.

Sig Sauer P226

Identified as the P226. In one mission, Alpha is equipped with one with a flashlight attachment and is used as a means of illumination.

Glock 18

Only found as a pre-order bonus, the Tactical Assault Handgun 9 (TAH9) is a Glock 18C with a built in flashlight underneath and an extended 33 round magazine. This item is said to be the only automatic handgun in the game.

Desert Eagle

Identified as the Falcon 50. From the top rails it can be identified as the Mark XIX version.

Identified as the MP-U45 in game, it is the starting SMG. It is also the preferred weapon of Fiona.

Shotguns

Remington 870

Called the LE 400 in game and is the first unlocked shotgun in the game. It is commonly used by members of the Cartel. In the customziation screen it is erroneously described as "single shot bolt action". Like the other shotguns, it can be equipped with Dragon's Breath rounds.

Stoeger Double Defense

The Stoeger Double Defense appears as the "Double-D". This side by side shotgun fires both shells simultaneously with great damage and spray. While its constant reloading may sway away potential users, it is the only shotgun capable of equipping a M203 Grenade launcher beneath it.

Saiga-12k

Called the S12 in game. It stands as the games only automatic shotgun. It can be equipped with a larger magazine and can drain through it in less than a second. However its extreme rate of fire as well as emptying the magazine quickly, it too drastically increases in recoil per shot.

Franchi SPAS 12

Called the ASG Combat in game. Fires in semi-automatic only but when reloading the pump is used to chamber the round. Unlike most videogames, the player can customize the butt stock to its folded and deployed positions and even removed (which has no effect on the weapons stats and is just for cosmetics). Unlike the other shotguns in the game, the ASG's standard cartridge is a slug round (which makes the ACOG attachment for the shotguns only useful with this model).

Cobray Street Sweeper

As in the original Army of Two, this weapon is classified as the DAO-X and is the last unlock-able shotgun. Fires in semi-auto. When reloading the drum of the weapon is removed completely, and a new one is replaced (Similar to Max Payne 2). Frequently used by Brutes.

Assault Rifles

Colt Model 933

Erroneously identified as the M4, this is the starting weapon of the campaign. Interestingly the operative will reload the weapon by pulling back the charging handle, not by the bolt catch release. It is also the default weapon for Rios and Salem on Alpha and Bravo's first mission.

Izhmash AK-47

The most common weapon seen by the cartel, identified as the AK47. Like Far Cry 3 it is shown with a top rail attachment. Those who pre-ordered the game and got the Overkill Edition have a Dia De Los Muertos skin (but there are no other differences aside from the standard AK)

Listed as the M-KAR in the weapon customization screen. Can be customized into the HAMR variant of SCAR.

Sniper Rifles

When cartel members use sniper rifles, they are always equipped with laser sights which allow the player to identify their location. Like in EA's AAA title Battlefield 3, the laser sight when aimed at you blinds your screen partially with a red laser.
