It is a 2017 feature film adaption of the 1986 Stephen King novel of the same name in which a malicious supernatural entity taking the form of a clown named Pennywise comes out of hibernation to feed on the children in the fictional town of Derry, Maine during the summer of 1989 as a group of seven children band together to face the creature. The film is directed by Andy Muschietti and stars Bill Skarsgård as the titular creature. A sequel titled It: Chapter 2 is set to be released in 2019. The novel was also previously adapted into a 1990 tv miniseries.

Smith & Wesson Model 10
Officer Oscar "Butch" Bowers (Stuart Hughes) carries what could be a Smith & Wesson Model 10 revolver as his duty sidearm. It is never drawn however, making a full identification difficult.
M1911A1
At the start of the August portion of the film, Henry Bowers (Nicholas Hamilton) is seen shooting targets with his father's M1911A1 pistol. Officer Bowers takes the pistol away from his son, and fires it at the ground in front of him.
Captive Bolt Pistol
Mike Hanlon (Chosen Jacobs) uses a captive bolt pistol in his grandfather's slaughterhouse. He later takes it for the final confrontation with Pennywise at the climax of the film where is also used by Henry Bowers (Nicholas Hamilton) and Bill Denbrough (Jaeden Lieberher)
