M70AB2 rifles are seen in the hands of terrorists, Russian soldiers, and UN workers.
CAR-15
The early (and outdated) Colt CAR-15 assault rifles are seen in the hands of a Special Forces Operator and a FBI agent. The SF’s CAR has a M203 launcher attached to it.
Colt Model RO635
The Colt 9mm Submachine Gun is seen in the hands of a FBI agent, which is correct for him to be carrying.
CZ-75
The CZ-75B is seen being used by several characters throughout the movie.
Unknown Grenade Launcher
This unknown weapon is seen being used by the driver of the truck. He uses it twice, once to blow up a Russian Border Patrol, the again to shoot at Devoe’s chopper, but he shoots the floor of his truck, which blows up, killing him.
Glock 17
The Glock 17 is seen being used by a security team to kill Devroe’s friend. Several NYC police officers use them as well, but due to the never halting camera movements, I couldn’t get a clear picture.
Beretta M9
The famous movie sidearm, Beretta 92FS, returns as Lt. Colonel Tom Devoe’s (George Clooney), Air Force pilots, NYC police officers, and several other character’s sidearms.
M16A1
Several New York National Guard troops show up to aid in the finding of the bomb, carrying very outdated M16A1s.
M16A2
After Devoe gets 8 of the nukes, (in Clooney’s badass fashion, of course) a SOF soldier is seen slinging his M16A2.
M24 SWS
A Special Forces sniper saves Devoe’s (George Clooney) ass with a shot to Kodoroff’s Aleksandr Baluyev chest with his M24 sniper rifle. The weapon also has a custom camo paintjob (albeit fading) and a fluted barrel.
Ithaca 37
The full sized Ithaca 37 shotgun is seen being held by a FBI agent when the team goes to the terrorist’s hotel room.
M60D
As usual, a M60D machine gun is seen a mounted on a US Air Force helicopter.
Remington 700
NYC police snipers utilize the Remington Model 700PSS sniper rifles to try (and miss terribly) to take down the terrorist before he gets to the UN.
Heckler & Koch MP5A3/A2
The Heckler & Koch MP5A3 and Heckler & Koch MP5A2, a Special Forces favorite at the time, is seen being used by rogue Russian Spetsnaz and American Green Berets.
Unknown Revolver
A few of said Spetsnaz soldiers have these unknown revolvers in cross draw holsters.
SA Vz. 58
The Russian soldiers in the beginning of the film use these weapons, which is incorrect because they should be using the standard weapon AK-74M.
SKS
Two Russian border soldiers are shot down, SKS Carbine rifles in hand.
