Journey's End is an upcoming 2018 British war drama directed by Saul Dibb based on the novel of the same nameby R. C. Sherriff. Set in a dugout in Aisne in 1918, it is the story of a group of British officers, led by the mentally disintegrating young officer Stanhope, variously awaiting their fate. This is is the film adaptation of the novel. In the first adaptation Capt. Stanhope was portrayed by Colin Clive.
