The Thin Man Goes Home was filmed in 1944 about retired detective Nick Charles played by William Powell and his wife Nora Charles played by Myrna Loy as they head to Sycamore Springs to see Nick's parents. While there a local artist is killed on the Charles family front porch. It's now Nick's time to show off his gum shoe talents for his parents. As he investigates the murder every clue and suspect leads to more questions and they seem to be tied in with the last painting the artist did. Another murder is committed in the sleepy town and Nick decides to wrap up the case. All the suspects are gathered at Dr. Charles lab for the final interrogation and the revealing of the murder.
