Pacific Rim is a 2013 science fiction action film directed by Guillermo Del Toro. The film is set in a future where the people of Earth are at war with massive underground monsters known as "Kaiju". In order to battle these monsters, Earth uses special massive mechanized machines known as Jaegers. The film's cast included Idris Elba, Charlie Hunnam, Charlie Day, and frequent Del Toro collaborator Ron Perlman. Del Toro would return to produce the 2018 sequel, Pacific Rim: Uprising.

M4A1 Carbine

M4A1 Carbines fitted with EOTech sights, KAC railed handguards, and M203 grenade launchers are carried by many of the Pan Pacific Defense Corps (PPDC) security guards. In the prologue, a Japanese Special Assault Team (SAT) officer guarding the skeleton remains of a kaiju could be seen with one, although it has an RIS foregrip instead of an M203 grenade launcher.
