Star Wars Battlefront is a first- and third-person action shooter game set in the original trilogy of the Star Wars Universe, released in November 2015. It is a reboot of the original Star Wars: Battlefront series originally created by Pandemic Studios and LucasArts in 2004, and is now developed by EA DICE, the studio behind the Battlefield series of games. Battlefront also runs on the third installment of the proprietary Frostbite engine that Battlefield 4 and Battlefield 1 use. A sequel to the 2015 Battlefront is planned for release in November 2017.
Many of the game's blasters are almost-identical virtual replicas of the prop weapons used in the films of the original trilogy, and a few of the new weapons created by DICE appear to have been based off of real-world small arms.

Blaster Pistols
BlasTech DH-17 Blaster Pistol (Sterling L2A3)
The Sterling SMG-based DH-17 pistol is one of the first weapons players can unlock, available at rank 3. It costs 550 credits, and functions as a rapid-firing machine pistol, ideal for close-quarters combat. The in-game model has the Sterling trigger assembly from The Empire Strikes Back prop but also lacks the magazine and magwell, as the seen on the early rubber stunt props in A New Hope. The DH-17 is also the blaster of choice for the Sullustan rebel hero Nien Numb, who is available as part of the Outer Rim DLC.
BlasTech DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol (Mauser C96)
The DL-44, the iconic space-faring iteration of the Mauser C96, is the final base game weapon, unlocked at level 25 for 2,500 credits. It boasts incredible damage, rivaling the T-21 heavy blaster, but can only fire nine shots before overheating and it has a sharp damage drop off at range. Of course, it is the sidearm of the Han Solo in-game, a Hero for the Rebel faction.
BlasTech SE-14C Blaster Pistol (Rexim-Favor Mk5)
Dr Evazon/Ponda Boba's infamous sidearm is also present in the game, made available at rank 14 and costs 2,500 credits. The truncated Rexim-Favor Mk5 blaster pistol fires in rather ridiculous five-shot 800 RPM bursts, and is a somewhat more precision-oriented close range pistol compared to the DH-17.
DL-18 Blaster Pistol (Umarex RO 72 Panther)
One of the two free weapons (available to all players, whether they own the DLC or not) added in the Outer Rim expansion is the DL-18, a blaster pistol based off a Umarex air pistol design that was carried by several of Jabba's goons in Return of the Jedi.
DT-12 Blaster Pistol (Ruger MK I)
Alongside the free weapons, the Ruger Mk I-based Rodian DT-12 pistol is available exclusively to owners of the Outer Rim DLC. It is available to regular infantry and used by Greedo, the Imperial hero added in the expansion.
X-8 Night Sniper (Walther PP)
One of the more unique weapons available in the game is the "X-8 Night Sniper", a blaster pistol added in the "Bespin" expansion pack. Zooming in/aiming with the pistol provides the user with a thermal overlay, allowing them to pick out targets a little easier. This pistol is also Lando Calrissian's sidearm, who is also added as an Alliance hero in the DLC. The "X-8" is based off of a weapon that he carries in the Star Wars: Rebels TV show, and the in-game model heavily resembles a Walther PP pistol with some embellished, cartoon elements.
A180 Blaster (WE Luger P08)
Jyn Erso's airsoft Luger P08-based sidearm from Rouge One was added in the game's final DLC package, Rouge One: Scarif. The blaster is available to both normal players and Jyn's hero character in game. When using the A180, player's star card hands will be deactivated and replaced with the options to use the blaster in its various configurations, ranging from Sniper, Rifle, and Ion modes.

BlasTech A280C Blaster Rifle (STG-44)
The BlasTech A280C is the default weapon of the Rebel Alliance faction, and can be unlocked for Imperial use at rank 8, costing 1,550 credits. Despite the name, it actually more closely resembles the STG-44-derived A295 rifle carried by Rebel soldiers on Hoth rather than the MCG replica M16-based blaster featured in Return of the Jedi. Compared to the E-11, it is less powerful per shot and less accurate, but it has a much higher rate-of-fire. The DLT-20A Pulse Cannon is also another Sturmgewehr 44 based weapon in the game, and it features a heavily perforated barrel shroud similar to that of the Browning M1919 machine gun. It is a Star Card "power weapon" that can fire a single powerful aimed shot before having a long cool down period. Rebel snipers and Scout Troopers use a weaker version of the Pulse Cannon in the single player/two player modes.
BlasTech DLT-19 Heavy Blaster Rifle (MG34)
The Imperial heavy blaster based on the MG34 is also unlocked alongside the DH-17 at level 3, and also costs 550 credits. It is an ideal weapon for crowd control given its high 700 RPM, but it has sharp damage drop off and accuracy issues limiting its effective range. The "Villain" Dengar of the Cloud City expansion also uses the DLT-19; one of his special abilities allows it to fire at an even higher RPM, closer to the real world counterpart. A variant, called the DLT-19X, was added with the Outer Rim DLC update and is free for all players, only requiring the completion of a Hutt Contract to use it. This variant adds a large scope and removes the bipod, and fires a single, powerful shot before requiring a cooldown period.
BlasTech E-11 Blaster Rifle (Sterling L2A3)
Stormtroopers are issued with the full-size Sterling SMG derived E-11 Blaster Rifle. It fires a much more accurate and stronger bolt compared to the Alliance's A280C, but at a relaxed fire rate of 300 RPM. It is unlocked for use by the Rebels at level 8, for 1,550 credits. Princess Leia also uses the E-11 rather than her Margolin .22 based-blaster pistol, for some reason.
BlasTech T-21 Heavy Blaster Rifle (Lewis Gun)
The T-21 Heavy Blaster, based on the Lewis Gun, is unlocked at rank 10 and costs 2,500 credits. It is incredibly powerful, able to kill most opponents with two to three shots, although the incredibly slow RPM of 180 and slow velocity of the blaster bolts means players will have to lead ranged targets quite a bit. A new variant created by the development team, the T-21B, is appropriately available at rank 21. It features a scope (actually two Singlepoint OEG mounted together where the real Lewis pan magazine would go) and is semi-automatic only, and fires at an even slower 150 RPM.
CA-87 Shock Blaster (Cut-down Lee-Enfield No.1 MkIII)
The ultra-short Lee-Enfield No.1 MkIII* is faithfully recreated in Battlefront, although this time it is configured to fire a lethal, shotgun-like particle spread. It has an incredibly short range and slow fire rate, and can only fire 3 shots in rapid succession before needing to cool down. The "Focus Fire" Star Card ability does allow it to fire a single, slug-like projectile with more range, however.
EE-3 Blaster Carbine (Webley & Scott Flare Gun)
Boba Fett's Webley No. 1 Mark 1 flare gun blaster is available to regular soldiers at rank 17 and costs 2,500 credits. It fires in three-shot bursts and is considered a great all-round blaster and is very popular in online play because of this. As a hero-tier character, Fett uses an even more powerful version.
RT-97C Heavy Blaster Rifle (MG15)
The other notable Sandtrooper heavy blaster, the MG15 machine gun based weapon from A New Hope is another usable weapon in the game. Just as it was seen in the movie, the RT-97C is rather absurdly covered in scopes. It is unlocked early on at level 5, and functions similar to the DLT-19, but with less effectiveness in close quarters fighting in exchange for better accuracy in ranged engagements.
Relby-V10 Targeting Rifle (Schermuly Multi-Purpose Gun)
The other paid-for primary blaster added in the Outer Rim DLC is the Relby-V10, an accurized-type of blaster rifle that fires in single shots. It is also Bossk's preferred weapon as part of his inclusion in the later Death Star DLC. The weapon is modeled after the Schermuly Multi-Purpose Gun, a non-lethal grenade launcher made in the United Kingdom, and features twin gunsights taken from a Sherman tank.
Other Weapons
Scatter Gun (Franchi SPAS-12)
The "Scatter Gun" star card weapon added in the Outer Rim expansion is compact, close quarters weapon that uses a truncated heat shield and forend of a Franchi SPAS-12, mounted sideways to blaster's "receiver". Despite it's name, it actually fires two slug shots at once rather than the shotgun-like blast of the CA-87 Jawa Blaster.
Smart Rocket (M20B1 "Super Bazooka")
The "Smart Rocket" is a rocket launcher that appears to be a dressed up M20B1 "Super Bazooka" that free fires projectiles that will self-guide to ground targets such as turrets or Imperial walkers.

I've been working on a page for this game for a while, I've just been too busy lately to finish it. I've already written descriptions for every weapon both in the main game and in the dlc and found as many of the real world counterparts tgat I could. I have it all saved on a Google doc, already properly spaced and formatted, it just needs to be copy and paste over. The only thing really left to do is add the final screencaps. Star Wars Battlefront is a first-person shooter/third-person shooter developed by Swedish game developer DICE and published by Electronic Arts. Set during the Galactic Civil War of Star Wars: The Original Trilogy, You play as either a soldier in The Rebel Alliance or an Imperial Stormtrooper in a variety of gamemodes taking you from the deserts of Tatooine to bowels of the Death Star as both a foot soldier and starship pilot.

Overview
The game is played from either a first or third person perspective, with the player being able to switch between either on command whether they are on the ground or in a starship. This game does not feature the class system popular in DICE's Battlefield Series, rather having you make "hands" with star cards. Star cards represent different secondary weapons, grenades, power-ups, droids, and much more. During a game, the player is free to choose, and switch between, whichever weapons they have acquired up to that point at the beginning of the match and during respawns. Aside from Stormtroopers and Rebel Soldiers, the player also has a chance to play as a variety of Heros and Villains, ranging from Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia to Darth Vader and Boba Fett and many other in between. Unlike when playing as a standard character, as heroes or villains you are locked in third-person mode. Also available are one-use "Power-ups" that give you a special item like a lock-on rocket launcher or the ability to fly a starship. Finally, each "hand" can be given a "trait". "Traits" provide you with bonuses for doing well in a match, giving you bonuses like power-ups for kills or damage resistance. Weapons in this gae do not feature iron-sights, but still have the ability to zoom in.
Primary Weapons
Blasters are the primary weapons of this game. They come in many different variants from pistols to heavy blaster rifles. All have unlimited ammo but they can overheat, leading to a cooldown period. They are unlocked by leveling up and then purchasing them with the in game currency "credits". Like the films, the blasters are based on real world firearms with cosmetic modifications.
E-11 Blaster Rifle (Sterling L2A3)
Based off the Sterling L2A3. The standard Blaster of the Empire. Available to the player anytime they are on the Imperial side. Is the primary weapon used by Princess Leia. Has relatively strong damage output, decent rate of fire, and decent cooling power. Good for close to mid range. Can be purchased for use on the Rebel's side at rank 8 for 1,550 credits.
A280C Blaster Rifle (Sturmgewehr 44)
Based off the Sturmgewehr 44. The standard Blaster of the Rebellion. Available to the player anytime they are on the Rebel's side. Similar in stats to the E-11, with a slightly higher rate of fire, slightly higher cooling power, and a slightly lower damage output. Good for close to mid range. Can be purchased for use on the Imperial side at rank 8 for 1,550 points.
DH-17 Blaster Pistol (Sterling L2A3)
Based off the Sterling L2A3. Is the primary weapon used by Nien Nunb. Has decent damage output, high rate of fire, and strong cooling power. Great at close range and decent at mid range based on its rate of fire, power, and accuracy. Available for purchase at rank 3 for 550 credits.
DLT-19 Heavy Blaster (MG34)
Based off the MG34. Has low damage output, but an extremely high rate of fire and cooling power. Is the primary weapon used by Dengar. Best at close range based on its high rate of fire. Available for purchase at rank 3 for 550 credits.
RT-97C Heavy Blaster (MG15)
Based off the MG15 machine gun. Has relatively low damage, but a high rate of fire and cooling power. Good at most ranges due to its accuracy. Available for purchase at rank 5 for 1,250 credits.
CA-87 Shock Blaster (Cut-down Lee-Enfield No.1 MkIII)
Based off a cut down Lee-Enfield No.1 MkIII. The only real "shotgun" of the game. Has extremely high damage at close range, but very low rate of fire and cooling power, overheating after only 3 shots. Can be very effective at close range, just be careful not to miss. Available for purchase at rank 8 for 1,550 credits.
T-21 Heavy Blaster (Lewis Gun)
Based off the Lewis Gun. Has strong damage output, a low rate of fire, and decent cooling power. Good at mid to long range due to it's low rate of fire and high damage. Available for purchase at rank 10 for 2,500 credits
SE-14C Blaster Pistol (Rexim-Favor Mk5)
Based off the Rexim-Favor Mk5. Has decent damage output, fires quick 5-shot bursts, and has good cooling power. Good at close to mid range. Available for purchase at rank 14 for 2,500 credits.
EE-3 Blaster Rifle (Webley & Scott Flare Gun)
Based off the Webley & Scott Flare Gun. Has good damage output, fires quick 3-shot bursts, and good cooling power. Has good accuracy and damage at long range. Available for purchase at rank 17 for 2,500 credits.
T-21B Targeting Rifle (Lewis Gun)
Based off the Lewis Gun. Similar in stats to the standard T-21. It has slightly lower damage output and cooling power, but comes equipped with a scope allowing for greater range. Good for use at long range. Available for purchase at rank 21 for 2,500 credits.
DL-44 Blaster Pistol (Mauser C96)
Based off the Mauser C96. Is the primary weapon used by Han Solo. Has high damage output, decent rate of fire, but low cooling power. Very effective at close range. Available for purchase at rank 25 for 2,500.
Secondary Weapons
These are represented in-game by "star cards", a 3 card loadout the player makes that act as their secondary weapons/items. Anytime a star card is used, there is a cooldown time until it is next available. Unlocked the same way as the primary weapons.
Scout Pistol
Small blaster pistol. Fires two shots in rapid succession. At close range, landing both shots at center-mass is enough to kill a target. Not seemingly based on any real-world firearm.
Pulse Cannon (Sturmgewehr 44)
Heavy rifle. One of the two "sniper" rifles in the base game. Has to be charged to fire, and the longer it is charged the more powerful it hits. Hitting a target on a full charge guarantees a kill at any range. After it reaches max charge, there is only a brief time before it fires on its own, however the charge can be canceled by using melee and releasing the trigger. Based off the Sturmgewehr 44.
Cycler Rifle
Heavy rifle. The second "sniper" rifle in the base game. At very close range, it is an insta-kil with a body shot, at range you need to get a headshot. The only weapon in the base game that fires solid projectiles. The advantage it has over the Pulse Rifle is that since it fires solid projectiles, it can penetrate enemy shields, allowing you to kill enemies who think they're safe. Not seemingly based off any real-world firearm
Bowcaster
Very heavy blaster. Another charge based weapon. Fires one heavy shot at low charge, but charging increases the number of shots fired at one time. The Primary Weapon of Chewbacca. Not seemingly based off any real-world firearm.
DLC Weapons
As the title suggests, these are weapons added in 4 post release expansion packs. Unlike the weapons featured in the base game, these are unlocked through an added feature called "Hutt Contracts". Rather than level up and then purchase them, you buy a contract for them and then complete a certain number of challenges to unlock them.
DL-18 Blaster Pistol (Umarex RO 72 Panther)
Based off the Umarex RO 72 Panther air gun. Has decent damage output, a good rate of fire, and good cooling power. Good at close to mid range. Added in the Outer Rim Expansion. It's Hutt Contract requires you to get 3 blaster kill streaks, and 15 kills with the Scout Pistol.
DLT-19X Targeting Rifle (MG34)
Based off the MG34. Has very high damage output, killing with a headshot at any range, but suffers from being able to fire only one shot before overheating. Good for long range. Added in the Outer Rim expansion. The only "sniper" type rifle available as a primary. It's Hutt Contract requires you to get 3 targeting rifle streaks, 15 kills with the cycler rifle, and 15 headshots.
Relby-V10 Targeting Rifle (Schermuly Multi-Purpose Gun)
Based off the Schermuly Multi-Purpose Gun. Is the primary weapon used by Bossk. Has decent damage output, a good rate of fire, and good cooling power. Good at mid to long range. Added in the Outer Rim Expansion. It's Hutt Contract requires you to get 3 targeting rifle streaks, 40 heavy blaster kills, and 15 kills with a targeting rifle in a single round.
DT-12 Blaster Pistol (Ruger Mk I)
Based off the Ruger Mk I. Is the primary weapon used by Greedo. Has strong damage output, relatively good rate of fire, and good cooling power. However it has very bad range, being only really effective at close range. Added in the Outer Rim expansion. It's Hutt contract requires you to kill 15 enemies with any blaster pistol, and to get 30 blaster pistol kills in the gamemode "blast" (Team Deathmatch)
EE-4 Blaster Rifle
Unknown base firearm. Has good damage output, fires very quick bursts, but can overheat quickly. Very effective at close range, but it's spread of shots it's burst can make it inaccurate at range. Added in the Bespin Expansion. It's Hutt Contract requires you to get 30 kills with the EE-3, get 3 blaster rifle streaks, and get 10 generator defense scores in the "Sabotage" Gamemode.
X-8 Night Sniper
Unknown base firearm. It has decent damage output, good rate of fire, but relatively low cooling power. It's bonus is that it has equipped a thermal scope, allowing the user to see targets through smoke, dioxis (poison) gas, and in low light conditions. Is the primary weapon of Lando Calrissian. Added in the Bespin expansion. It's Hutt Contract requires you to get 15 kills as Lando, 5000 objective score in "Sabotage", and get 10 headshots with blaster pistols.
TL-50 Heavy Blaster
Unknown base firearm. It has low damage output, but extremely high rate of fire and cooling power. It's low power is also made up for in that it has three barrels, which mixes with the high ROF for a fairly high damage output. Unlike every other weapon available so far, this one doesn't have a zoom function, instead it has a secondary charge shot. This charge shot fires a large energy blast that kills anyone in a small radius and damages anyone else nearby. Added in the Death Star expansion. It's Hutt Contract requires you to get 20 kils as an Imperial soldier, get 75 heavy blaster kills, and win a game of "Battle Station".
K-16 Bryar Pistol
Unknown base firearm. It has overall decent damage, rate of fire, and cooling power. Though like the TL-50, it has a secondary fire. Also a charge shot, this one releases an extremely powerful shot that instakills anyone it hits. Added in the Death Star expansion. It's hutt Contract requires you to get 10 kills with blaster pistols, 25 kills as Han Solo, and get 3 blaster pistol streaks.
A180 Blaster Pistol (WE Luger P08)
Based on an airsoft clone of the Luger P08. As a pistol, it has good damage output, fire rate, and cooling power. Added in the Rogue One: Scarif Expansion. This is a very unique weapon. When equipped your star cards are replaced by three alternate modes for the blaster; rifle, sniper, and ion. In rifle mode it is effectively the same as the A280C, with similar damage, ROF, etc. In sniper mode it is similar to the DLT-19X, but with increased damage output. The ion mode is useful against vehicles, however it is ineffective against individual enemies. It is a very versatile weapon that can be used quite effectively in most situations, with the only real drawback being you aren't able to use your personal star cards. It's the primary weapon of Jyn Erso. It's Hutt Contract requires you to get 25 blaster pistol kills, 30 blaster rifle kills, and 20 targeting rifle kills.
DT-29 Blaster Pistol (MP40)
Based off the MP40. Has high damage output, good rate of fire, but unlike every other weapon in the game, it doesn't overheat, instead it requires reloading. Added in the Rogue One: Scarif expansion. It holds six shots per energy pack, which is then replaced with a new one from an endless supply you apparently keep in your pocket. The reload animation is pretty long, so you should try to be in cover if you need to reload. It is the Primary weapon of Director Orson Krennic. When used by him, a secondary fire mode is available that turns the weapon into a single shot gun that packs a serious punch, killing most enemies in a single hit. It's Hutt Contract requires you to get 25 kills as Krennic, use 10 personal shields, and get 50 blaster pistol kills.
CJ-9 Bo Rifle
Unknown base firearm. Has decent damage output, decent rate of fire, and good cooling power. Added after the Rogue One: Scarif expansion. This weapons unique bonus is that it has an electric "staff" mounted like a bayonet that can be used to get an instant melee kill. Because of this, the rifle performs best in close quarters. Unlike any other weapon in the game, this one can only be unlocked during a match. When you kill an opponent who had it equipped, a token will be dropped. Pick up this token, and you will then unlock the rifle. Simple as that.
Scatter Gun
Unknown base firearm. The only gun-like star card added in the expansions. One of only two shotgun-like weapons in the whole game. It fires to shots in rapid succession, just like the scout pistol.
