Dr. Mabuse, the Gambler is a 1922 german thriller directed by Fritz Lang and is starring Rudolf Klein-Rogge as Dr. Mabuse(a doctor using his hypnotic powers to commit crimes).
The following weapons were used in the film Dr. Mabuse, the Gambler:
Pistols
Frommer Stop
The Frommer Stop pistol is the personal sidearm of state-prosecutor von Wenk(Bernhard Goetzke). It is later seen in the hands of the police Chief.
Dreyse Model 1907
In a continuity error, during the final scene, von Wenk's handgun changes to a Dreyse Model 1907 pistol.
Unknown revolver 1
Hawasch(Károly Huszár) and Georg(Hans Adalbert von Schlettow) both use unidentified revolvers. At a first glance, they both reassemble Colt M1917 or Smith & Wesson revolvers. However, the barrel appears to fire a rather smaller cartridge, indicating a potential 7.92mm spanish Eibar copy.
Unknown revolver 2
Police officers use short-barreled revolvers during the attack on the house.Their shape suggests a Webley Bulldog but only as a guess.
