Is it REALLY a MAT-49?
Just by looking at the barrel, the magazine well, and the bolt, this doesn't look like a MAT-49 at all... -SeptemberJack (talk) 19:47, 15 August 2017 (EDT)
- As far, as I know, MAT49 is the only SMG with a foldin magazine. Pyramid Silent (talk) 23:44, 15 August 2017 (EDT)
- It's not the only one. FNA-B 43, for example, and some others. But anyway the screen gun has nothing in common with MAT-49, different barrel, different receiver, different attaching of sling. I'll try to make some research. Greg-Z (talk) 03:43, 16 August 2017 (EDT)
- I think that it can be Swiss SIG MP-310 with some muzzle extention (possibly blank firing adapter). Compare the general shape, the position of the sight, the magazine housing lock button (seen on third screenshot) and the position of the pistol grip slightly behind the back of the receiver. Greg-Z (talk) 04:04, 16 August 2017 (EDT) Note: MP-310 seems to be better guess than MP-48, the first version of this gun, as MP-48 had wooden furniture that would be seen on screen. Greg-Z (talk) 04:08, 16 August 2017 (EDT)
- Many thanks. It's very interesting to see a Swiss SMG in Plillipines movie. Pyramid Silent (talk) 08:40, 16 August 2017 (EDT)

PPS-43
The SMG looks similar to PPS-43 but it seem to have the pistol grip and the magazine well very close to each other, more close than on PPS. It is just a visual effect? Maybe we can see this SMG on another angle? Greg-Z (talk) 03:43, 16 August 2017 (EDT)
- Sorry, this gun is seen clearly only once. It's also probably seen at the night scene, but I'm not sure. Anywhere, I uploads a few more screenshots. Pyramid Silent (talk) 08:38, 16 August 2017 (EDT)
- Yes, it's not PPS. Pyramid Silent (talk) 09:06, 16 August 2017 (EDT)
- May as well put my opinion here too, I think it's a Colt Mars PDW with a 'futuristic' shell. Black Irish Paddy (talk) 20:35, 16 August 2017 (EDT)
- Scratch that, it may be a Floro PDW instead. Black Irish Paddy (talk) 20:41, 16 August 2017 (EDT)\
- Did Floro PDW exist in 1985? Looks like it was designed in 1990s, or not? Greg-Z (talk) 00:37, 17 August 2017 (EDT)
- For comparison: Floro PDW in center. Greg-Z (talk) 02:52, 17 August 2017 (EDT)
- New idea, a dressed up M1 Carbine pistol. Black Irish Paddy (talk) 07:40, 26 August 2017 (EDT)

- Not so much (more precisely, very few) SMGs with an upper charging handle. Maybe it's a Chinese Thompson [1], dressed like a futuristic gun? -Slon95 (talk) 16:11, 17 August 2017 (EDT)
M16
M16s are most likely Philippine-made Elisco M16A1s. Greg-Z (talk) 03:43, 16 August 2017 (EDT)
- Many thanks! I corrected the page Pyramid Silent (talk) 08:38, 16 August 2017 (EDT)
Mortar
2B14 Podnos Mortar cannot appear in 1985 Philippines-filmed movie. This must be some old 81mm mortar of US origin, issued to Philippines army. Greg-Z (talk) 00:12, 16 August 2017 (EDT) M1 Mortar, I guess. Greg-Z (talk) 03:43, 16 August 2017 (EDT)
- I complitely forgot about it, sorry. Now, I corrected the ID. Pyramid Silent (talk) 08:39, 16 August 2017 (EDT)
Artillery
Field cannons are 105 mm M2A1 (redesignating M101A1) howitzers. Heavy cannons on second and third screenshots need more research, but I think that these are mockups, resembling WW1 era siege mortars. Greg-Z (talk) 03:43, 16 August 2017 (EDT)
- I think that I found the heavy guns. These are 12-inch M1890M1 mortars of Battery Way, located on the island of Corregidor, Philippines. Currently this is a museum. Greg-Z (talk) 08:03, 16 August 2017 (EDT)
- Many thanks for the help! I uploads a few more screenshots. Pyramid Silent (talk) 08:36, 16 August 2017 (EDT)

Armor
The vehicle doesn't seem to have a large turret so it is possibly tracked APC, not a tank. Greg-Z (talk) 03:43, 16 August 2017 (EDT)
- According to IMCDB, this is FMC LVT-P5. Greg-Z (talk) 06:56, 16 August 2017 (EDT)
- Thanks a lot! I add this information. Pyramid Silent (talk) 08:41, 16 August 2017 (EDT)
Total Road Warrior wannabe
Just saying. Spartan198 (talk) 12:33, 16 August 2017 (EDT)
