36th Precinct (36 Quai des Orfèvres) is a 2004 crime film co-written and directed by Olivier Marchal (The Last Deadly Mission) starring Daniel Auteuil and Gérard Depardieu as two rival police inspectors investigating a string of violent armored car holdups. It was nominated for eight César Awards, but did not win any.
A featurette on the DVD had director Olivier Marchal (a former police officer), Alain Figlarz and other crew members visit armorer Christophe Maratier to go over a few weapons choices. (Maratier is not listed as the armorer in the credits, but his company supplied the weapons.)
The following weapons appear in the film 36th Precinct:
Error creating thumbnail: File missingMaratier shows off the Beretta 93R. They may have been discussing an earlier draft of the script, because at no point is Florence on a motorcycle.
Heckler & Koch MP5
A policeman is briefly seen with a Heckler & Koch MP5 during the botched ambush. It's impossible to tell which type.
Error creating thumbnail: File missingMaratier and the director agree to arm the armored car guards with Mossberg 500s. Someone obviously changed their minds. (See above.)
Remington 870
Eddy carries a Remington 870 during an arrest. Vrinks carries a customized Remington 870 during the botched raid and a different 870 during the raid on the motel.
Two of the robbers are seen with Arsenal AR-SF rifles with wood furniture. One of them has a classic Krinkov flash hider rather than the Bulgarian one.
In a continuity error, Horn's Micro Galil turns into what appears to be a customized AKMSU. It had a custom forend, with an AMD-65-style folding stock that folds to the right.
