The '''General Liu Rifle''' is an experimental early Chinese self-loading rifle, named after its designer General Ch'ing-en Liu (Chinese: 劉慶恩, Pinyin: Liu Qing En), the first Superintendent of Hanyang Arsenal. General Liu went to USA in 1914 to procure machinery for the Hanyang Arsenal from the Pratt & Whitney Tool Company.
