Sindiket or Syndicates is 2017 Malaysian action film, starring Sharnaaz Ahmad as Detective Inspector Rudy, an investigation officer from Bukit Aman C.I.D D7 were assigned to Sabah state for investigate and cripple the operational of human trafficking near the East Malaysia-Kalimantan border and he was assisted by Detective Inspector Sabrina from Sabah State Police Headquarters. Inspired by a true story, the movie focuses on the issue of human trafficking following a local woman who is tricked by her boyfriend and sold to a brothel. There she is given drugs and forced to sell herself.

Detective Insp. Rudy and Detective Insp. Sabrina can be seen using the STI International variant during the raid into the Galang's luxury boat and into the Rudy's house. It doesn't appear to be the STI variant used in the film, as it the improved slant-5 cuts slide. However, the gun is never fired.
Walther P99AS
The Walther P99AS was the primary sidearm of the Royal Malaysia Police during the time of shootout with human trafficking syndicates. It is seen being fired by one of the marine police officers.

The Zoraki 917 is carried by Detective Insp. Sabrina and one of Galang's men during the final shootout.
