ChiPs(1977-1982)

CHiPs was a television police series that followed two motorcycle officers (portrayed by Erik Estrada and Larry Wilcox) of the California Highway Patrol who encountered all sorts of cases while patrolling the freeways of Southern California. Despite being in law enforcement, all of the officers were rarely seen drawing their sidearms. The series was broadcast on NBC for 6 seasons from 1977 to 1982. In 1999, the majority of the cast would reunite for the television film CHiPs '99. In 2017, the series was adapted as a feature film comedy starring Dax Shepard and Michael Peña.
