Smith & Wesson Model 36
Esther (Isabelle Fuhrman) retrieves a stainless steel Smith & Wesson Model 36 from a small gun safe in the garage. The ammunition is shown to be Federal .38 Special +P lead semi-wadcutter loads with nickel casings. The gun is again used by Esther and briefly by Max in the film's climax.
