: Are these bootleg images from the (2009 Scheduled release) movie Tunnel Rats"? Or is it a different movie? [[User:MoviePropMaster2008|MoviePropMaster2008]] 20:31, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
Like usual, there is a lot to criticize in the film, though the film itself has mixed reviews (some reviewers actually think Boll is getting better(!)But there was not a lot of thought put into the costuming and gear for the film.  The Soldiers wear modern BDUs in O.D., their shoulder patches are bright and not subdued (subdued insignia was common by 1968) and the helmet covers are Woodland BDU, not the Nam leaf pattern which is correct for Vietnam.

::Yep, this is the new Uwe Boll movie. And a perfect case of what we shouldn't be tolerating. -[[User:MT2008|MT2008]] 21:23, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

::::We deleted the pics because it appeared that they are from a BOOTLEG copy.  You mentioned the THEATRICAL release date or film festival dates.  But that doesn't mean it's out on DVD yet.  And it hasn't even hit theatres in the US yet.  Has it come out on DVD already in other countries?  Uh, NO.  Dude.  You're in Hong Kong, the illegal Bootleg capital of the world.  Again, please don't post images from  bootleg sources here.  It's IMFDB policy.  If these are from a LEGAL source, then let me know.  If I don't hear that it is from a LEGAL source (i.e. a licensed and sold DVD or an online trailer or studio released production stills) in 24 hours, then I will delete the images, just like the other admins did previously. 1968 Tunnel Rats is the latest film directed by 'infamous director' Uwe Boll. The film was originally titled Tunnel Rats. The film was screened at film festivals in Canada and Germany and had a limited theatrical run in Los Angeles at the Downtown Independent Theatre on December 20th, 2008. The 'official' release date for the film in the U.S. was supposed to be March 13th, 2009, however that release date got pushed back, despite being released elsewhere in the world on DVD. Now the U.S. DVD will be available for wide release on Jun 30, 2009.

Like usual, there is a lot to criticize in the film, though the film itself has mixed reviews (some reviewers actually think Boll is getting better(!)) But there was not a lot of thought put into the costuming and gear for the film. The Soldiers wear modern BDUs in O.D., their shoulder patches are bright and not subdued (subdued insignia was common by 1968) and the helmet covers are Woodland BDU, not the Nam leaf pattern which is correct for Vietnam.
