Meteor (2009 Miniseries) (also called Meteor: Path to Destruction) is a 2009 two part science fiction television series about an asteroid named 114 Kassandra being knocked on to a collision course with Earth. The show revolves around several scientists as they attempt to prevent the disaster as meteor fragments rain down all over Earth. Several subplots also include an LAPD detective in pursuit of his psychotic ex-partner to prevent him from murdering his father and daughter, and a family working to escape a destroyed hospital. The cast includes Billy Campbell, Marla Sokoloff, Christopher Lloyd, Michael Rooker, Stacy Keach, and Ernie Hudson.
The following weapons were used in the television series Meteor (2009 Miniseries):
Handguns
Beretta 92FS
LAPD Detective Jack Crowe (Billy Campbell) uses a Beretta 92FS as his sidearm as he pursues his ex-partner Calvin Stark (Michael Rooker).
Reck Government
Jack's ex-partner Calvin Stark (Michael Rooker) uses a Reck Government, a German blank firing replica of the M1911A1 with Pachmayr grips as his sidearm. Dwight (Stephen Bridgewater) also holds a Reck Government on Sheriff Crowe at the refuge shelter before surrendering it in Part 1.
SIG-Sauer P226
in Part 1, A store clerk pulls a nickel plated SIG-Sauer P226 on a customer who tries to walk out without paying. In Part 2, a thug harassing a woman in the desert attempts to draw a nickel plated P226 when confronted by Jack.
Glock 17
In Part 2, Imogene O'Neil (Marla Sokoloff) takes a second generation Glock 17 off of Border Patrol Police Commander Murphy (Carmen Argenziano) which she later uses to threaten a store owner, but is forced to surrender it shortly after.
Revolvers
Smith & Wesson Model 19
A criminal disguised as a police officer in the Mexican police station that Imogene O'Neil (Marla Sokoloff) arrives at appears to use to use a nickel plated Smith & Wesson Model 19, Imogene later use the same revolver when she escapes the station.
Colt New Service
An escaped criminal in the Mexican police station appears to use a Colt New Service. In a continuity error, Imogene's Smith & Wesson Model 19 changes into a New Service when she throws it onto the passenger seat of a Mexican police car she takes.
Shotguns
Double Barreled Shotgun
A member of Dwight's (Stephen Bridgewater) gang can be seen cleaning a Double Barreled Shotgun. Dwight himself later uses the shotgun in the grocery store, but is relieved of it by Sheriff Crowe (Stacy Keach).
Rifles/Carbines
Remington Model 700
When Dwight and his gang are preparing their guns in the garage, what appears to be a Remington Model 700 can be seen in a gun case.
Winchester Model 70
A member of Dwight's gang can be seen with what appears to be a Winchester Model 70 in the grocery store before it is confiscated by Sheriff Ryan.
Colt M4A1 Carbine
National Guardsmen use Colt M4A1 Carbines as their issues rifles. Calvin Stark (Michael Rooker) also steals an M4A1 from a pair of National Guardsmen in Part 2.
Other Weapons
FIM-92A Stinger
Several National Guard soldiers are seen using FIM-92A Stingers to shoot down incoming meteorites (although this maybe scientifically impossible or at least somewhat difficult to do considering meteorites tend to travel through the atmosphere at 25,000 mph to 160,000 mph.)
Beretta 92F Non Gun
In Part 2, Jack uses a Beretta 92F Non Gun when confronting a pair of thugs harassing a woman in the desert.
AK-47 Non Gun
In Part 2, the store owner's son uses an AK-47 Non Gun with a folding stock similar to that of an AIMS to threaten Imogene and Jack when they arrive at their store.
