Jack Reacher: Never Go Back is the 2016 sequel to 2012's Jack Reacher and is an adaptation of the Reacher novel Never Go Back by Lee Child. Tom Cruise reprises his role as Reacher, who returns to the world of the US military when he discovers that the MP commander who replaced him after she is charged with a crime. The film also co-stars Cobie Smulders and Robert Knepper and was helmed by Edward Zwick, who also directed Cruise in 2003's The Last Samurai.
