The Conjuring 2 is the 2016 sequel to 2013's The Conjuring. James Wan returned as director along with actors Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga reprising their roles.

When Lorraine Warren (Vera Farmiga) astral-projects into the Amitville house and relives the murders of the DeFeo family, a projection of Ronald DeFeo Jr. can be seen armed with a Marlin Model 336, which was the rifle that was actually used in the real Amityville murders.
