: I might be wrong, but I was under the impression all Series 80 and newer Colt guns have flat mainspring housings, not curved as on earlier guns, and indeed, the gun in that image. Again though, I could be wrong, that is one of MPM's images and I don't necessarily wanna call him on it (it simply could have just been a Series 80 slide built with an older-style frame perhaps, or something). That aside, I think it works fine to represent the gun on the listing as opposed to this one - The gun in the screencaps also has a curved mainspring housing, along with an A1-style hammer whereas the above image is of a M1911 which doesn't have either. Nickel plated M1911
So, I know that our current photo in all of the supernatural pages if a nickel plated Colt MKIV Series 80 for Dean's nickel M1911A1. But, I think this picture below is actually closer to the actual pistol. I could be wrong --Bauer2121 (talk) 18:59, 7 November 2016 (EST)
