Note that the Glock 19 used in the movie is a 3rd Generation model; while the Glock 19 had appeared in numerous previous films and television series before Shaft, this appears to be the first movie to feature the 3rd Generation model, which had only been introduced the year before this film went into production (1999).
Glock 26
Det. Carmen Vasquez (Vanessa L. Williams) carries the Glock 26 as her sidearm.
Kahr K9
When he is relieved of his sidearm, Shaft switches to his backup gun, a stainless steel Kahr K9 for the rest of the film. The Kahr K9's use in the film is confirmed by the Kahr website [1].
Desert Eagle
Big Man Leon (Stu Riley) pulls a chrome Desert Eagle to scare away one of Peoples' thugs.

When Peoples Hernandez (Jeffrey Wright) and his thugs go to the apartment to take out Shaft and Diane Palmeri, some of them are seen carrying full-size Uzis.
Micro Uzi
Peoples Hernandez (Jeffrey Wright) is seen with a Micro Uzi fitted with a barrel shroud when he and his thugs go to Shaft's apartment.
Ithaca 37
The Ithaca 37 shotgun is used by several NYPD officers including Shaft and Det. Jimmy Groves (Ruben Santiago-Hudson).
Nickel M1911A1
One of Peoples' thugs holds a nickel M1911A1 during the standoff.
Browning Hi-Power (Nickel)
A nickel Browning Hi-Power is seen in the hands of the suspect Shaft chases down in the opening raid.
Beretta 92FS Centurion

Non-Gun
A pocket pistol Non Gun is pulled on Walter Wade, Jr. (Christian Bale) before the trial. It's a non-descript pocket pistol flashpaper gun. It is used to imitate a variety of pocket pistols, although it shares no real similarities to any.
