The Hot Spot is a 1990 neo-noir directed by Dennis Hopper. It's the story of a cynical drifter called Harry Madox (Don Johnson), who arrives in a small town in Texas, and gets work in a local business. Once there Harry begins working on a bank robbery plan and becomes involved with two different women Dolly (Virginia Madsen) and Gloria (Jennifer Connelly). His plans are complicated by a local blackmailer Frank Sutton (William Sadler).
