Jamie Foxx is an American actor who began his career on the FOX television sketch comedy series ''In Living Color''.  He subsequently appeared in such films as ''[[The Kingdom]]'', ''[[Jarhead]]'', ''[[Miami Vice (2006)]]'', ''[[Django Unchained]]'' and ''Ray'', a feature for which he would subsequently receive the Academy Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of the blind musician Ray Charles. In the same year he won for ''Ray'', Foxx was also nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the film ''[[Collateral]]''.
