I don't know a large amount about short barreled models of 1911s, seeing as in Canada we really can't own them, but don't they all have the Springfield Armory logo on the slide? I don't see it on any of the photos Bristow8411 (talk) 04:53, 18 September 2016 (EDT) | I don't know a large amount about short barreled models of 1911s, seeing as in Canada we really can't own them, but don't they all have the Springfield Armory logo on the slide? : Well we don't really have good photos showing the side of the gun, and the logo can wear off or be placed in different spots depending on the exact era of the gun. Could even be edited out digitally for copyright reasons (unlikely but possible). That said, I go with the Ultra Compact because this is clearly a Officer's sized 1911, which only a couple of other companies make (the rest make ultra compacts that are 3" or "Defender" sized). Main thing is that the features of the gun match those on Springfields, particularly the sights, slanted serrations, and grip safety shape. Compact 1911
I'm not entirely sure that the gun shown under the Colt Officers ACP is indeed an ACP. Just from looking at the picture of it on the table, the pistol in the episode has different sights, a different hammer, ambi safety and the extended magwell, and while I'm not entirely sure, I think the slide serrations are angled and not straight and there appears to be some writing on the slide itself, I just can't make it out.Bristow8411 (talk) 21:38, 17 September 2016 (EDT)
Derek Keyes (Bokeem Woodbine) is seen using a Compact pistol, sometimes with a suppressor.
It's almost certainly a Springfield Armory Ultra Compact variant. On another note, I'm not sure the revolver is a Model 629 snub, I think it's more likely a Smith & Wesson Model 66 snub. StanTheMan (talk) 02:39, 18 September 2016 (EDT)
