Hold-Up is a 1985 French-Canadian crime comedy directed by Alexandre Arcady. Jean-Paul Belmondo stars in the film as Grimm, a criminal who has a crafty plan to rob the most secure bank in Montreal. Hold-Up was an adaptation of the Jay Cronley novel Quick Change, which was later adapted into a 1990 heist comedy co-directed and starring Bill Murray.
The following weapons were used in the film Hold-Up:
Various unidentified revolvers are seen in several scens.
Browning Hi-Power
Several Montreal SWAT officers carry pistols in addition to their M16s or sniper rifles. These pistols are seen only in holsters, but they greatly resemble Browning Hi-Power.
Submachine Guns
Uzi
Uzi submachine guns are seen in hands of police officers and detectives.
Several SWAT officers are armed with Heckler & Koch MP5 SMGs. They are seen very briefly and at a distance so it's impossible to say for sure if they are MP5A3s or converted HK 94 Carbines.
Shotguns
Franchi SPAS-12
Several Montreal police SWAT officers carry Franchi SPAS-12 shotguns.
