Daylight's End is a 2016 post apocalyptic film set sometime after a mysterious plague has devastated the planet and turned the majority of the world's human population into blood-hungry creatures. Johnny Strong stars in the film as Thomas Rourke, a drifter on a vengeful hunt who stumbles across a band of survivors, led by Frank Hill (Lance Henriksen). Rourke then joins the band to defend themselves and to escape to sanctuary.

The sidearm carried by Thomas Rourke (Johnny Strong) is an Colt M1911A1 with extended magazines. Frank Hill (Lance Henriksen) uses an engraved one.
