Wilhelm von Homburg (1940-2004) was a German actor/writer who perhaps is best known to movie audiences for his role as Vigo the Carpathian in the 1989 sequel Ghostbusters II. He also appeared in such films as Die Hard and In the Mouth of Madness. Prior to his acting career, he was a competitive boxer and wrestler. He passed away in 2004 from complications from
