The following guns were used in the fifth and final Dirty Harry film, The Dead Pool:
Smith & Wesson Model 29
Insp. "Dirty " Harry Callahan's (Clint Eastwood) sidearm is still the Smith & Wesson Model 29 in the final installment of the series.
IMI Uzi
When crime kingpin Lou Janero's (Anthony Charnota) henchmen open fire at Insp. Callahan (Clint Eastwood) during their attempts to kill him at a freeway exit, some of them are armed with IMI Uzi submachine guns. Later when Callahan is with Samantha Walker (Patricia Clarkson) in the elevator, two more henchmen open fire on them with Uzis.
LaFrance Specialties M16K
Two of Lou Janero's (Anthony Charnota) henchman fire LaFrance Specialties M16Ks with an A1-style recievers at Insp. Callahan (Clint Eastwood) before running out of ammunition and being killed.
Browning Hi-Power
A Browning Hi-Power is used by the lead robber in the Chinese Restaurant. One is also seen in the shoulder holster of one of the bodyguards hired to protect Insp. Callahan (Clint Eastwood).
Remington 870
One of the robbers in the Chinese Restaurant is seen armed with a pistol gripped Remington 870 shotgun.
Colt Trooper
A Colt Trooper is seen in a police officer's holster at the Police Department. One of the robbers in the Chinese Restaurant is also seen using one.
Smith & Wesson Model 60
Lt. Ackerman (Michael Goodwin) is seen with a Smith & Wesson Model 60 in a cross-draw holster.
Smith & Wesson Model 28
A police officer at the scene of one of "Ed Butler's" crimes is seen with a Smith & Wesson Model 28 in his holster.
Harpoon
One of the props on the set of Peter Swan's (Liam Neeson) new film is a high-powered Harpoon gun, which for unknown reasons actually fires harpoons. On real film sets, deadly weapons are typically avoided for obvious reasons. At the end of the film, Insp. Callahan (Clint Eastwood) uses the Harpoon gun to kill Harlan Rook (David Hunt), after he runs out of bullets.
