I don't know if that is an AK-47. It looks more like a Galil ARM--SeanWolf (talk) 22:51, 26 June 2016 (EDT)
- Interesting suggestion. I assumed that it was meant to be AK-47 because that's how it is called in the game (AK47 is also seen written on ammunition boxes, right on this screenshot), but it certainly has visual similarities to Galil ARM... --Kloga (talk) 23:26, 26 June 2016 (EDT)
- And the M16 longer looks like as the AR-10. Although, it all might just be the consequence of low rendering. --Slon95 (talk) 07:03, 27 June 2016 (EDT)
- For a DOS game I surprised they even tried to do depict weapons that way... Also, AR-10 was used in the original movie, so this theory may be right, as well. --Kloga (talk) 08:59, 27 June 2016 (EDT)
- I don't recall an AR-10 in the original film, and if this page is eligible at all, it's skirting the edge at best. If you can't identify the revolver other than "Revolver," that's a problem. --Funkychinaman (talk) 11:46, 27 June 2016 (EDT)
- Sorry, got confused a little, there was AR-18 in the movie, not AR-10. I hope that the page is eligible, as it's one of the fewer games of early 1990's (among with the likes of Doom) that put some effort in distinguishing real firearms (at least three - AMT, Uzi and Beretta 92, others are more arguable but that's still quite something, especially since we have a page on a mixbag like Team Fortress 2). As for the revolver - would it be a stretch to consider it some kind of poor representation of Smith & Wesson Model 15 used a lot in the original movie?.. --Kloga (talk) 16:50, 27 June 2016 (EDT)
