Canadian Bacon is a 1995 comedy written, directed, and produced by Michael Moore, who is better known for his controversial documentaries. The cast includes John Candy, Alan Alda, Kevin Pollak, Rip Torn, Rhea Perlman and G.D. Spradlin. The film is thus far the only work of fiction directed by Moore (although his critics may say it's just the only one advertised as such) and was the last film role John Candy completed before his death.
