Morgiana is a 1972 Czechoslovak drama horror film directed by Juraj Herz on based a novel by Alexander Grin. The action takes place on the end of 19th centuries. It is the story of two sisters - Klára and Viktorie (in a double role here will Iva Janzurová), heiresses large property. While one is kind and good, the second represents the embodiment of evil, morbid hatred and envy. Her monstrosity but soon surprised herself, when will come into unexpected dimensions. Morgiana film won the main prize - Gold Hugo - at the Chicago International Film Festival.
