Trigun: Badlands Rumble is a 2010 Japanese animated action comedy film by Madhouse. It is based on the Trigun manga, written by Yasuhiro Nightow. The first part of the movie takes place before the first episode of the anime, and the rest is sandwiched between the first and last. 20 years after meddling into the bank heist of a notorious robber named Gasback, Vash the Stampede is heading towards Macca City. Rumors say that the legendary thief might appear there causing an enormous influx of bounty hunters in the area who want to collect the $$300,000,000 prize for his head. A fiery young woman named Amelia is also searching for Gasback, for reasons unknown.

Note: Many futuristic versions of real firearms and fictional guns from the original [[Trigun]] anime return in this movie. A couple of new radically designed weapons appear in this sequel of sorts, and a few authentic firearm designs also can be seen. Most modifications on real world firearms are largely cosmetic and will simply be noted as "Futuristic" in the section header.

Trigun Badlands Rumble (2010)

Trigun: Badlands Rumble is a 2010 Japanese animated action comedy film by Madhouse. It is based on the Trigun manga, written by Yasuhiro Nightow, and takes place within the Trigun anime's story. The first part of the movie takes place before the first episode of the anime, and the rest is sandwiched in the middle of the anime's 26 episode story.

Note: Many futuristic versions of real firearms and fictional guns from the original Trigun anime return in this movie. A couple of new radically designed weapons appear in this sequel of sorts, and a few authentic firearm designs also can be seen. Most modifications on real world firearms are largely cosmetic and will simply be noted as "Futuristic" in the section header.

Work In Progress

This article is still under construction. It may contain factual errors. See Talk:Trigun: Badlands Rumble for current discussions. Content is subject to change.

The following weapons were used in the anime series Trigun: Badlands Rumble:

Handguns

AGL Arms Factory .45 Long Colt (EF Auto Ejecting, Double Action)

Vash the Stampede uses a fictional break-top 6'o clock barrel revolver in .45 Colt as his primary weapon. Continuing from episode 3 of the Trigun anime, his revolver has now a fluteless cylinder, instead of the fluted one as seen in episode 1. Vash is seen reloading his revolver with jet speedloaders in the movie. Being the Humanoid Typhoon, he is very proficient with the gun; being able to shoot with perfect accuracy and reload very quickly.

Amelia's .22 Hornet Lever Action Pistol

Female gunslinger Amelia uses a magazine-fed lever action rifle modified into a "Mare's Leg" configuration as either one-handed or two-handed. It is chambered in .22 Hornet, as seen on the barrel. Surprisingly, she fires the weapon in semi-automatic mode, the lever being simply used to cock the gun.
