It looks like this game is out, but not in the US. Does anyone know if there WILL BE a US release? I don't know how much of a market there would be for a Red Chinese propaganda game here. --Funkychinaman (talk) 11:44, 9 April 2013 (EDT)

:It'd be interesting, if somewhat jarring. It's weird to see the JGSDF portrayed as the bad guys in anything; their most famous foe being Godzilla, after all. It's fairly blatant this game takes advantage of Chinese cultural suspicion of Japan and India, with a little bit of Philippine and US vilification just for fun.  --That's the Way It's Done (talk) 14:56, 24 March 2016 (EDT)

Are all these sourced from the PLA game or the upgraded civilian release? Screens taken from videos or first hand?Temp89 06:20, 27 April 2012 (CDT)

Release

Type 96

I'm fairly certain that the Type 96 used by those AI IJA troops are just Type 11 Light Machine Guns. They have the feed hoppers for the stripper clips and everything. They would also fit the Sino-Japanese War vibe a bit more. - Papercake 03:43, 28 July 2015 (EST)

Title

The title is a bit clunky. Everything I see online points to the title being just Glorious Mission. Any objections to moving the page? --Funkychinaman (talk) 10:03, 28 July 2015 (EDT)

Wait, that jmsdf rifleman is not SBU.

yes. Look at that white thing on the shoulder of body armor, these guys are Maritime Interception Team( 護衛艦付き立入検査隊, goueikantsuki tachiirikensatai/MIT or VBI). A special forces organized each Destroyer Escort(or Frigate. Japanese word goueikan) literally, for Maritime Interception Operations (MIO). But they are treated lower level compare with SBU. Man, how can I notice that so lately?
