Supergirl is the superhero television series based on the DC Comics character. The series follows the adventures of Kara Zor-El (Melissa Benoist), who is the cousin of Kal-el, the superhero who comes to be known on Earth as Superman. Originally sent from Krypton to protect her cousin, Kara finds herself landing on Earth several years following Kal-el's arrival and discovering that he has already grown up while she remained the same age when she left. Now living on Earth without a mission, Kara is adopted by an earth family and subsequently takes the name of Kara Danvers (in a nod to previous Superman universe adaptations, Kara's father is portrayed by Dean Cain, who portrayed Superman in the series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman and her mother is portrayed by Helen Slater, who portrayed Supergirl in the 1984 feature film adaptation). In the series, Kara, now in her mid twenties, must learn to embrace her powers after she has to reveal them during an unexpected disaster, setting her on her journey of heroism and self discovery as she begins to take on the persona of Supergirl. The series premiered in the fall of 2015 in the US on CBS and was co-developed by Greg Berlanti, who also developed the other DC Comics superhero series Arrow and The Flash.
The following weapons were used in the television series Supergirl (2015):
Agents of the Department of Extra-Normal Operations (DEO) are seen carrying Glock 17s as their sidearms in "Stronger Together" (S01E02). The agents seen using the pistol include Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh) and Hank Henshaw (David Harewood). Hank Henshaw is once again seen using one in "Strange Visitor From Another Planet" (S01E11).
Glock 19
Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh) is seen carrying a Glock 19 as her standard carry weapon. Agent Donovan (Luke Macfarlane) is seen using one in "Human For a Day" (S01E07)
Beretta 92FS
A security guard is seen pulling a Beretta 92FS at a Hellgrammite in "Stronger Together" (S1E02). And by "Master Jailer" (Jeff Branson) in "Truth, Justice, and the American Way" (S01E14).
Hera Arms CPE
Director Henshaw (David Harewood) is seen using what appears to be a visually modified Hera Arms CPE, which fires a concentrated blast of Kryptonite in "Hostile Takeover" (S01E08). Alex Danvers also uses one in "Bizarro" (S01E12).
Revolvers
Smith & Wesson Model 60
Supergirl can be seen talking down an armed robber who is armed with, what appears to be a Smith & Wesson Model 60 in "Human For a Day" (S01E07).
Alex Danvers can be seen using a Mossberg 500 Rolling Thunder, to engage 'Jemm' in "Human For a Day" (S01E07).
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5K (mocked up as MP5K-PDW)
Two bank robbers wield Heckler & Koch MP5Ks in "Pilot" (S1E01). Both appear to feature the longer lugged barrels of the Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDW while one also has the PDW folding stock fitted, but these are not PDWs due to the S-E-F lower receiver/trigger group (actual MP5K-PDWs have Navy lowers).
DEO Agents are seen armed with Colt M4A1s in "Hostile Takeover" (S01E08) and "Blood Bonds" (S01E09), where US Army Soldiers are also seen armed with them.
Along with other weapons already listed there appears to be a number of Heckler & Koch G36Cs seen in the DEO armory, which is seen in "Blood Bonds" (S01E09).
Other
Milkor MGL Mk 1S
Maxwell Lord (Peter Facinelli) is seen using a fictional launcher based on the Milkor MGL Mk 1S to fire a type of putty over the eyes of an attacking Kryptonian in "Hostile Takeover" (S01E08) and "Blood Bonds" (S01E09).
