1944 is a 2015 Estonian war drama film directed by Elmo Nüganen (Names in Marble). The film deals with events of Estonians fighting in the German Army and the Soviet Red Army. In the first half of the film you follow the Estonian Waffen SS squad with Karl Tammik (Kaspar Velberg) during the Battle of Tannenberg Line. After a skirmish with Estonian Red Army soldiers accompanied the film Jüri Jõgi (Kristjan Üksküla) and his squad.

Walther P38
The Walther P38 is briefly seen by an Estonian SS soldier.
Tokarev TT-33
The Estonian NKVD commissar Kreml (Peeter Tammearu) is armed with a Tokarev TT-33.
Rifles
Karabiner 98k
The Karabiner 98k is used by Estonian and German soldiers. Karl Tammik (Kaspar Velberg) is seen with one at the beginning. All of the Karabiner 98ks have hooded front sight.
Mosin Nagant M91/30
Soviet soldiers and an Estonian civil defense squad is armed with Mosin Nagant M91/30. Prohhor Sedõhh (Rain Simmul) uses a Sniper variant.
Mosin Nagant M44 Carbine
A Mosin Nagant M44 Carbine is briefly seen carried by Rudolf Kask (Ivo Uukkivi).
Finnish Civil Guard Mosin-Nagant M/28 Rifle
Some Soviet soldiers are armed with Finnish Civil Guard M/28 rifles.
Tokarev SVT-40
A Tokarev SVT-40 is seen carried by a Soviet soldier. Vladimir Kamenski (Karl-Andreas Kalmet) uses a scoped version.

Soviet Soldiers are armed with PPSh-41 submachine guns. Estonian SS soldiers use captured PPSh-41s.

The PPS-43 is also used by both armies.

Sturmgewehr 44
The Sturmgewehr 44 is used by Estonian soldiers. The leader of the Estonian SS squad Ants Saareste (Gert Raudsep) uses a Sturmgewehr 44 after it runs empty he exchanged it with a PPSh-41.

The MG42 is used by Danish and Estonian SS soldiers. Near the end of the movie German soldiers use this machine gun,too.
MG34
A MG34 is briefly seen in a German trench. It's never seen fired.
Degtyaryov DP-28
The Degtyaryov DP-28 is used by the support gunner Oskar Lepik (Andero Ermel) in the Estonian-Soviet squad.

A Maxim M1910 is also briefly seen as some Civil Defense Guards desert.
