The Howa M1500 (Japanese: 豊和M1500, Hōwa M1500) is a Japanese bolt action rifle. It was introduced by Howa Machinery as the successor to the Howa Golden Bear rifle. While Golden Bear was based off Sako L61R "Finnbear", the M1500 was based off Weatherby Mark V - which was manufactured by Howa Industries under OEM agreement.
