:It might be that our image is actually an M2, since the only different-looking M1 I can find is the bottom one [http://i.imgur.com/2FgVD2f.jpg here] (top is a 2015 M4 model). Apparently the M1 is the 1948 domestic version and the M2 the first export model, so chances are all our live action M1s not in pre-1964 Swedish military assisted productions are actually M2s. I think the M2 image is an M2 550 or something, a version with a new sight that can also go on the standard M2 and isn't marketed as a separate model anymore. ::Unless it's actually id'ed as a real M1 in the movie/game all the listed "M1s" so far are M2s. We'll have to bring this up with other peeps so we can get agreement to change all the "M1" listings accordingly. [[User:Mr. Wolf|Mr. Wolf]] ([[User talk:Mr. Wolf|talk]])

M1 vs. M2

Anyone know the changes the M2 has over the M1? Cause they both look almost the same to me. Mr. Wolf (talk) 00:52, 13 November 2015 (EST)

It might be that our image is actually an M2, since the only different-looking M1 I can find is the bottom one here (top is a 2015 M4 model).
