SIG-Sauer P226R
Dr. Watson (Martin Freeman) owns a SIG-Sauer P226R pistol from his times in the military, in which Sherlock Holmes (Benedict Cumberbatch) occasionally uses the weapon. Owing to the strict firearms controls in the UK and the reduced insurance cost during filming, the Tokyo Marui P226R airsoft pistol was used as a stand-in, hence why the finish and markings are mismatched. This same prop also shows up on several occasions in the hands of minor characters.

Note: Given Watson's military background, the weapon is likely meant as a stand-in for the SIG-Sauer L105A2, the British Army's former issue pistol, currently being phased out in favor of the Glock 17. Yet, it is never explained that how did Dr. Watson manage to keep hold of his service piece and ammunition, given that he is not an active soldier anymore and he had to surrender his weapon upon his discharge.
