Surface is a science fiction television series about a strange new species of animal causing strange occurrences in the world's oceans. The story follows the experiences of a marine biologist, an insurance claim adjuster, and a teenager living in North Carolina as they attempt to understand the animals while government officials attempt to keep the creatures a secret. The show aired on NBC for 15 episodes from 2005 to 2006.
