Fantastic Four is the 2005 feature film adaptation of the popular Marvel comic book series. Directed by Tim Story, the film follows four astronauts and a billionaire businessman who upon encountering a cosmic storm during a space mission find themselves now possessing superhuman powers. The cast included Ioan Gruffudd as Mr. Fantastic, Jessica Alba as the Invisible Woman, Michael Chiklis as the Thing, Julian McMahon as Dr. Doom, and Chris Evans as the Human Torch (which was Evans' first portrayal of a Marvel character before taking on the role of Captain America).
