Assassination Classroom (Japanese: 暗殺教室 Hepburn: Ansatsu Kyōshitsu) is a Japanese anime television series produced by Studio Lerche.
Class 3-E of the Kunugigaoka Junior High School is just your ordinary school classroom with its students of many backgrounds. The only difference between them and the rest of the schools is that they have become a government-contracted killer group to assassinate their one sole target...their homeroom teacher. Koro-sensei, the teacher, is a yellow, octopus-like creature who had destroyed a full 70% of Earth's moon in an instant. He then claims he will do the same to Earth within a year and make an offer to the governments of the world, make him the teacher of Class 3-E while Class 3-E has to kill him within the year limit before he destroys Earth. Koro-sensei has already escaped the governments many attempts to assassinate him due to his various powers, the prominent one being his maximum speed reaching Mach 20, its now only up to what Class 3-E can do to avert the terrible fate that awaits Earth...
An OVA was first produced by Studio Brain's Base in 2013 for the series prior to the television version. The first season started airing on January 2015 and ending on June with 22 episodes. A second season has been slated for release on January of 2016.
The following weapons were used in the anime series Assassination Classroom:
Pistols
M1911A1
Class 3-E is equipped with BB-shooting M1911A1 pistols to assassinate Koro-sensei. It seems to be called the "Administer".
Remington 1866 Derringer
Irina Jelavić, an assassin, uses a yellow Remington 1866 Derringer as her standard weapon.
SIG-Sauer P226
Gastro has a SIG-Sauer P226 inside his weapon briefcase.
Revolvers
Nambu Model 60
Two Nambu Model 60 were acquired by Class 3-E during the Assassination Island Arc and used by Hayami and Chiba.
Smith & Wesson Model 64
Gastro uses a Smith & Wesson Model 64 revolver against Class 3-E during the Assassination Island Arc. He has a very strange (and highly dangerous) fixation with it.
Submachine Gun
MP5SD
A guard during one of Irina's missions is seen holding a MP5SD.
Madsen M50
Gastro is seen holding a Madsen M50.
Heckler & Koch MP7
Gastro has two Heckler & Koch MP7s, one with a fixed and one with a foldable stock, in his weapon briefcase.
Assault Rifles
M4 Carbine
Class 3-E is equipped with BB-shooting M4 Carbines to assassinate Koro-sensei. The M4 is fitted with a full stock, a magpul foregrip, magpul BUIS, and PMAGs. It seems to be called the "Assault Rifle MM". Gastro is seen with a real one in his military flashback.
Heckler & Koch G36C
Karma and Asano are seen with a G36Cs when confronting each other in the "final exams".
Machine Guns
M249 Para
An assassin in Episode 4 uses a M249 Para against Koro-sensei.
GE M134 Minigun
An assassin in Episode 4 uses a Minigun against Koro-sensei.
M61 Vulcan
A F-22 sent to hunt Koro-sensei uses its M61 Vulcan to no avail. A assassin in Episode 4 uses one as well on Koro-sensei.
Sniper Rifles
Accuracy International Arctic Warfare Magnum
"Red Eyes" uses a Accuracy International Arctic Warfare Magnum in attempts to assassinate Koro-sensei. In the OVA and manga however, he uses the AWS variant instead.
Blaser R93
Class 3-E student Chiba Ryunosuke uses a Blaser R93 Sniper Rifle that shoots anti-sensei BBs.
Grenades
Mk. 2 Hand Grenade
Nagisa uses a Mk 2 hand grenade in a suicide-bomb tactic to assassinate Koro-sensei.
