Fever Mounts at El Pao (French title: La fièvre monte à El Pao) is a 1959 French-Mexican drama film directed by Luis Buñuel on based a novel of Henri Castillou. Story of the honor and love on Ojeda island, a fictional Latin American military dictatorship. Starring Gérard Philipe (he died during filming) and María Félix.
