Nail Guns
One of Abraham Setrakian's (David Bradley) most favored weapons is a nail gun that fires silver nails. Though not technically a firearm, in the novels on which the series is based, it is explained that Setrakian has augmented the gun's firing mechanism with small charges of gunpowder, like a shotgun shell. This augmentation is necessary because neither of the original type of nail gun is suitable as a vampire-hunting weapon: pneumatic guns are not portable, since they need to be connected to supplies of water and air, while electric, battery-powered guns lack muzzle velocity and ranged trajectory. The nail gun also becomes favored by Eph Goodweather (Corey Stoll) and Vasily Fet (Kevin Durand).
(N.B. Powder-actuated nail guns are commercially available, but are impractical as weapons since they require re-loading after each shot.)
Silver Bullets
Abraham Setrakian (David Bradley) has a collection of silver bullets for loading into the various guns in his armory.
Grenades
The weapons in Abraham Setrakian's (David Bradley) armory includes a series of hollowed-out grenade shells, with which he is attempting to make an ultraviolet light flash-bang (similar to one used in Guillermo del Toro's earlier film Blade 2).
