A Walk in the Sun is a 1945 World War II film that follows a US Army platoon that lands in Italy in 1943 and is commanded by Sergeant Bill Tyne (Dana Andrews). As the platoon makes its way inland to attempt to take a fortified farmhouse, tension in the platoon ensures as casualties mount.
