It states it as possibly being built off of a Sporter II Carbine, but as I understand, all Sporters have 'slab-side' lower receivers without the mag fencing, while the carbine's lower clearly has the fencing, that is, an A1 lower. With that, wouldn't the base gun be more likely one of the non-Sporter 'M16A1 carbines', such as a [[Colt Model 653]]? Fake XM177 Base
