The Brain (Le cerveau) is a 1969 French crime comedy directed by Gérard Oury and starring Jean-Paul Belmondo and Bourvil as two criminals who plan to rob a train that carries a large sum of cash, without knowing that the criminal mastermind "The Brain" (David Niven) has the same idea.

Three Mauser rifles are seen in Frankie Scannapieco's weapon case. They look similar to Karabiner 98k but due to straight bolt handles they appear to be VZ-24 Czech Mauser rifles.

An L1A1 is seen in hands of a British Queen's Guard soldier in the opening scene.
